In order to ensure safe operation and a healthy environment, we politely ask guests to follow the rules of visiting Saunia Thermal Resort – two swimming pools and a sauna world. In case of violation, the violator may be expelled from the pool resort premises.
Visiting rules
The Visiting Regulations are used to comply with relevant legal regulations, to protect the health and safety of visitors to the Saunia Thermal Resort (hereinafter referred to as the “resort”). Every visitor is obliged to familiarize himself with these visitor rules before entering the resort area. By paying the entrance fee to the resort, the visitor expressly agrees to these visitor rules and undertakes to follow these visitor rules and the instructions of the operator’s employees.
1. Entrance to the resort
1.1. Entry to the resort is only possible during operating hours with a valid ticket and chip (wrist watch with electronic chip). The reception staff will provide you with information about the entry and payment system. The area is divided into a pool area with an outdoor area and an indoor wellness area. Both the indoor and outdoor areas are open year-round.
1.2. The resort’s operating hours are daily from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m., including national holidays and non-working days (unless it is officially stated otherwise at www.thermal.saunia.cz or at www.saunia.cz and when entering the area).
The period of validity of a single entry begins with the passage through the transition entry device (turnstile) and ends with the passage within the specified time through the exit transition device, reps. by the end of the operating hours. The time for changing, drying and clothing is also included in the validity period of the entry. In case of exceeding the paid entry time, the visitor is obliged to pay a surcharge at the cash desk in accordance with the valid price list.
1.3. Children under the age of 15 are allowed to enter accompanied by a person over the age of 18. Accompanying a person under the age of 15 is responsible for them during their entire stay at the resort.
1.4. By paying the appropriate entrance fee, each visitor will receive a wristwatch with an electronic chip, which not only allows the visitor to enter the resort, but is also a means of making cashless payments for meals and additional services in the resort. Each chip has a financial limit for consumption and other resort services. All surcharges charged on the chip are paid when leaving the resort at the reception. If the visitor uses up the entire financial limit during their stay, it is possible to renew this limit after paying the expenses so far.
1.5. The visitor is obliged to report the loss of the chip immediately to the reception of the resort for the reasons of its blocking and thus to prevent its misuse. Until the chip is blocked, the visitor is responsible for the expenditure charged on the chip. The fee for the loss of the chip is paid according to the current price list.
1.6. The operator reserves the right to limit or close some parts of the resort, or in case of necessary maintenance and/or for objective reasons (full capacity, bad weather, storms, reduced humidity, visibility) and/or the holding of a social and sports event without the right to a refund of the entrance fee (partial restriction of services and space, or the necessity to close the outdoor part of due to bad weather, etc.).
1.7. The capacity of the resort is limited, after the capacity is filled, the operator is entitled to limit access to the area.
1.8. For hygienic reasons, entry into the pool is only permitted in swimwear and possibly other suitable clothing made of materials suitable for staying in water.
1.9. Entrance to the premises is not allowed to persons with their faces completely covered.
1.10. Swimming is not allowed for children under 1 year old, except for the children’s wading pool. A child under 1 year must wear a bathing diaper. Brouzdaliště is taught to children up to the age of 8 accompanied by a person over 18 years of age. In the wading pool, people over the age of 9 are not allowed to lie or sit in the water.
1.11 Children from 1 year old are allowed access from the relaxation pool with warm water 32 ⁰C accompanied by a person over 18 years old. Children under 2 must wear a bathing diaper. Bathing without a swimsuit is also prohibited for small children.
1.12. Children under the age of 5 are prohibited from swimming in the thermal pool with a water temperature of 38 ⁰C.
1.13. Persons with limited mobility/orientation are allowed to enter the pool only under the constant supervision of an assistant/responsible person.
1.14. Persons using French crutches, walking sticks, prostheses, orthoses, or other hygienically inappropriate aids are only allowed to enter the pool if they are stored in the storage areas.
1.15. Persons suffering from diseases whose nature or course may be influenced by the specific environment of the resort (higher humidity and higher temperature), e.g. especially persons suffering from vascular and heart diseases, may visit the resort only after a professional consultation with a doctor.
1.16. To the resort and to the pool:
a) all animals are prohibited from entering
b) it is forbidden to bring in any alcoholic beverages or narcotic substances, and a person who violates this prohibition will be immediately expelled without the right to returnentrance fee
c) it is forbidden to enter persons under the influence of alcohol or narcotic substances, while a person who violates this prohibition will be immediately expelled without the right to a refund of the entrance fee. Consumption of alcoholic beverages in reasonable quantities is allowed in places designated for this purpose, provided that the person concerned is over 18 years old, at the same time there must be no harassment of other visitors and the safety of the consumer or other visitors must not be endangered. The operator has the right to refuse to serve alcoholic beverages to those persons who have a legitimate suspicion that they are already under the influence of alcohol or do not meet the age limit. In the event of a visitor’s problems due to the influence of alcohol or narcotic substances, even after consuming a small amount, the operator bears no responsibility for injury to health or damage caused in connection with the consumption of narcotic substances or alcoholic beverages, including beverages served at the point of sale on the premises of the resort .
Operating instructions for visitors
2.1. Every visitor is obliged to take care of the protection and safety of his own health as well as the protection and safety of others.
2.2. Every visitor is obliged to observe personal hygiene and maintain cleanliness in the places and facilities they use.
2.3. Before entering the pool, each visitor is obliged to thoroughly wash himself without a swimsuit with soap and take a shower in the areas designated for this (showers) and to walk over the waders, if there are waders when entering the pool.
2.4. Before entering the changing rooms, the visitor is obliged to take off his shoes and enter only in suitable swimming shoes or barefoot. Swimming shoes are slippers for wearing around the pool and other adjacent areas that are clean. Visitors may only enter the pool without shoes or in shoes intended exclusively for swimming.
2.5. The changing rooms in the common changing rooms are intended exclusively for undressing and dressing. There are lockers available for visitors to store, which visitors are required to properly lock using a chip. In case of loss of the chip, the contents of the locker will be issued to the visitor only after proving his ownership of the items stored in the locker. The operator is not responsible for any damage caused by the visitor not locking the locker.
2.6. The visitor is obliged to keep jewelry, money and other valuables in the handy safe boxes located at the reception of the resort. If the visitor does not lock jewelry, money and other valuables in the safes, the operator is not responsible for any damage that may occur to the items.
2.7. Sunbeds, stools and benches are used for visitors to rest. The visitor may not leave personal belongings here during his absence. Wardrobes or storage boxes are used to store personal belongings. The operator reserves the right to move stored items blocking sunbeds to reserved storage boxes.
2.8. Visitors are required to hand over items found on the resort premises to the responsible employee at the main reception. All valuables and small items are kept for 30 calendar days and can be picked up at reception. For hygienic reasons, the towel, swimsuit and other clothing cannot be kept for more than one week from the date of discovery. Found documents (identity cards, passports) are handed over to the relevant department of the municipal office. In the case of small items, a written agreement is possible at the email address: thermal@saunia.cz on the method of their delivery. In the case of valuables, personal collection is required, accompanied by proof of identity and identification of the lost item.
2.9. Visitors are obliged to treat the facilities and equipment located in the resort with care and are obliged to compensate for damages caused by their actions (intentional or negligent) to the property of the operator or the property of third parties.
2.10. Strollers are not allowed in the indoor area.
2.11. Visitors are required to follow the instructions of lifeguards and designated service personnel throughout the resort.
2.12. Due to the nature of the facility, extra care should be taken in all areas where visitors move, including stairways. There is a risk of slipping and possible injury.
2.13. In the event of an accident, injury or nausea, the visitor is obliged to call a lifeguard for treatment, writing and registration to the office. The infirmary is located at the inner entrance to the pool. The operator is not responsible for injuries and accidents caused by own negligence, carelessness or violation of the visiting rules.
Prohibited in the resort:
3.1. Smoking in all indoor areas of the resort and on the paved areas around the outdoor pools. The ban also applies to electronic cigarettes. The only exceptions are smoking areas designated and visibly marked as a smoking zone.
3.2. Bathing in clothes not suitable for bathing, including underwear. For hygienic reasons, children are only allowed to enter the pool in swimsuits or bathing diapers.
3.3. Btake with you sharp objects, glass containers and things that can break and thus cause injury, dangerous chemical and explosives, also your own sunbeds, umbrellas and any other furniture.
3.4. Entering the pool with food or drink and taking glassware out of areas intended for food consumption.
3.5. Bring inflatable rings and other inflatable items, fins and balls into the pool. Only inflatable sleeves, life jackets and swimming goggles are allowed.
3.6. Making noise, shouting, whistling and running around the pool on wet surfaces, making excessive noise, disturbing other visitors in any way.
3.7. Jump into the pool throughout the complex.
3.8. Contaminate the water and resort areas by spitting on the floors, in the pool, urinating in the pool, throwing trash outside designated areas and polluting the entire resort area.
3.9. Arbitrarily move sunbeds, tables, chairs, equipment and install furniture. Destroy equipment and facilities.
3.10. Do laundry and wash outside designated areas.
3.11. Require lifeguards and service personnel to perform services contrary to the visiting regulations.
3.12. Enter the space reserved for service personnel, or to areas marked with no entry or to areas designated for the opposite sex.
3.13. Calling for help without reason.
3.14. Bring your own food and beverages into the resort area, including portable coolers and any other food containers.
Exclusion of the visitor from the resort
4.1. A visitor may be expelled from the resort without the right to a refund of the paid entrance fee if:
a) despite the previous notification of the relevant employee of the operator, he does not follow the given instruction or visiting rules
b) he is drunk and under the influence of narcotic substances, and his behavior thus threatens the safety of other visitors, the cleanliness and the operation of the resort itself.
c) his behavior threatens the safety of other visitors, the cleanliness and the operation of the resort itself.
4.2. In the event that the visitor in these cases does not voluntarily leave the resort upon request, the operator may request the intervention of the security service or members of the Police of the Czech Republic.
General Provisions
5.1. The visiting rules are binding for all visitors and employees of the operator.
5.2. Visitors are obliged to observe warning, command, prohibition and information boards, or other notices and may not destroy, damage or remove them.
5.3. Visitors are required to leave the resort by the end of the operating hours, i.e. by 11 p.m. Late departure is sanctioned and charged according to the rate in the price list.
5.4. Any complaint about the resort’s services should be made immediately during the visit, in writing in the complaint book located at the main ticket office. Or subsequently to the address of the resort by correspondence, through a personal visit during business hours (available at www.thermal.saunia.cz), or by email at thermal@saunia.cz . Any wishes, questions or complaints can also be recorded in the complaint book.
5.5. The area can be reserved for schools, social and sports organizations during certain hours. During this time, swimming in the reserved area, or access to certain parts of the public area is restricted and prohibited.
5.6. In case of adverse weather such as storms or strong winds, visitors are required to leave the outdoor pools for safety reasons at the instruction of the lifeguard. If the visitor decides to leave the resort area prematurely due to bad weather, the operator is not obliged to refund the entrance fee or compensate him in any other way.
5.7. The Operator may take photographs, audio or video footage of Resort visitors during opening hours. The acquisition of the above records is in the legitimate interest of the operator and uses them to promote its main business. All visitors to the resort are aware of the fact that during their visit any type of recording will take place, informing in advance, at the latest at the ticket office.
Visiting rules of the sauna world
The sauna world (hereinafter referred to as Wellness) is part of the resort area. All provisions of the resort’s visitor regulations apply here. Except as specifically noted and modified below.
6.1. The Wellness visitor is obliged to follow the visiting rules and heed the instructions of the staff.
6.2. Telephone calls and audio-visual recording are prohibited in Wellness.
6.3. Wellness is exclusively a no-swimwear zone. Before entering the Wellness, put away all tops in the dressing room or lockers. In the entire Wellness area, visitors are only allowed to move around in overalls designed for Wellness, a bathrobe or a bed sheet. It is not allowed to bring bags, backpacks or similar luggage into the Wellness area.
6.4. Children from 5 to 15 years old are only allowed to enter the Wellness Center when accompanied by a person over 18 years old.
6.5. During your stay at Wellnesss, the visitor is obliged to observe hygiene and use a sheet or towel.
6.6. For hygienic reasons, every visitor is obliged to wash thoroughly with soap after entering the Wellness in the shower areas without swimwear.
6.7. In dry sauna areas, a sheet provided to each visitor must be used to underline the whole body, including the feet. Upon request, the visitor will receive a small aid to distinguish the assigned piece of sheet. The use of sheets in the steam room is not recommended.
6.8. In all areas where visitors move including staircases, due to the nature of the facility (increased humidity on the floors), increased caution should be taken. There is a risk of slipping and injury.
6.9. All visitors are obliged to observe the principles of morality and decent behavior and not to disturb other visitors with their behavior.
6.10. Sunbeds are used for visitors to rest. Visitors may not leave personal belongings on sunbeds during absence. Wardrobes in the dressing rooms or storage boxes in the Wellness area are used to store personal belongings. The operator reserves the right to move stored items blocking the sunbeds to reserved storage boxes without the assistance of the owner of the items.
6.11. Only food and drinks purchased here are allowed to be consumed in the Wellness area.
6.12. Saunas, heated rooms and others are intended for healthy persons and each visitor enters them at his own risk.
6.13. In all Wellness areas incl. terrace is NO SMOKING
6.14. The capacity of the Wellness is limited, after the capacity is filled, the staff is authorized to limit the entrance to the Wellness.
6.15. The visitor may not arbitrarily move equipment, furniture or manipulate operational technical equipment. They must not pour scented essences or other substances on the heating elements or otherwise change the environment in the saunas (humidity, temperature).
6.16. A visitor who damages the equipment of the sauna world is obliged to compensate for the damage caused.
6.17. In case of loss of the smart watch, all expenses up to the time of reporting the loss of the watch will be charged and the customer is obliged to pay the expenses. As a replacement for the smart watch, he is obliged to pay a lump sum of 100 CZK.
6.18. Saunia Thermal Resort is not responsible for damage caused by visitors through their own carelessness (e.g. on slippery floors or stairs).
6.19. If the visitor does not obey the instructions of the responsible staff of the Wellness, he may be expelled without the right to a refund of the entrance fee. In extreme cases, depending on the nature of the offence, the responsible person of Wellness may request the intervention of the security service or the Police of the Czech Republic.
